Painter, prominent marine artist. He trained at the drawing school in Odesa. Between 1892 and 1894 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under Cynk, Jablonski and Luszczkiewicz. From 1894 he continued his studies at the School of Drawing and Painting in Munich. After returning to Poland, he settled in Cracow. He was a member of the Warsaw TZSP. He was most fond of painting landscapes, often nocturnes, sea views were among his favorite motifs. He practiced oil technique, in the interwar years he used watercolor, gouache and pastel.
