Dioptric sight from around 1800, intended for a target, flintlock or percussion rifle. A steel plate with a hole passes through the brass tube, which is laterally adjustable for shooting accuracy. On the bottom side there is a square steel pin, with which the unit is inserted into the diopter housing. This type of sight represented a technical improvement for precision shooting at the time.
